A Musical Side-project: Missione dell’impossibilie

by J.J. DiBenedetto

I’ve posted a few times about songs I’ve created on the Suno AI music site that go with my books.  But I just finished a different project that I wanted to share.  It started with a thought: what if Mission: Impossible was an opera, rather than a TV show or movie?  And it snowballed from there.  So now it’s complete, and you can listen to it for yourself:

It’s in the style of Donizetti, who’s my favorite Italian composer. And I think it turned out really well!  The opera has everything you’d expect from a Mission: Impossible story – the “should you choose to accept it” briefing, a breathtaking stunt and the iconic moment when someone removes a mask to reveal they were impersonating someone all along.  If you do check it out, I’d love to know what you think of it!
