If you’ve read any of the Dream Series books, you already know Betty and Howard Barnes, the parents of Sara (the heroine of the books). They’ve got their own story, BETTY & HOWARD’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, which you can get on audiobook (narrated by Doctor Who’s Nicola Bryant!), and it’s also free on Kindle either by itself or as part of the DREAM FRAGMENTS short story collection.
This fantastic illustration is from artist Lina at DeviantArt.com, and you can see Betty (as inspired by Nicola Bryant) and Howard (who in my dream cast is played by Tom Cavanagh of “The Flash”).
